Crop circles are never present where there the field was not hit by the flash, and there is not any lodged (damaged, weakened) crop. On that fields, where lightning hit appeared, the crop is lodged (damaged, weakened) almost always.

Although it's a wonder, it was not in 2010 affected even only one lightning during the whole growing season of barley. There is possible to observe the massive arms of Benjamin Franklin, that rise from it to the sky

The field was photographed several times as a hot candidate for lodging (damaging, weakening), that would occurr not long after any "unplanned" discharge, but, however, none took place. Never mind, thanks to that has become as a "standard of not lodged (damaged, weakened) crop", namely barley

 

The last pictures were taken only a few days before the harvest.

 

That's exactly look like fields that were not hit by any lightning discharge during the whole growing season.

 

If I was a beer - lover, I'd buy such a field as a standing crop, drive it on a platform truck directly from under the combine, store it as well as possible, separately from the rest of other barley and brew from it exclusively selection brews

 

There is not lying even a stalk.

 

We can only wish our dear farmers in order to look like that every year as many as possible of their fields. It is of course the wish more like only a dream, because here there somewhere that some lightning after all only hit. No choice but put up with it, some small part of the crop leave to those pests (secondary, who will take place after the discharges), it will be less than 10%, and do not waste unnecessary chemicals, when the reason seems really more like force majeure. This is all very serious question for scientific research. In progress.

 

Further on this page will be to compare several images from Italy and the USA, - unevenly lodged (damaged, weakened) crop. Similar images will make the author of this text every year several thousand, while not leave the crow flies more than one mile from home, maximally two.
